Carolyn
Malony Congratulates ELLOPIA TV USA

Dear Ms. Krikeli:
Congratulations on being selected to
receive two well-deserved “Silver Telly” awards for the documentaries: NY
The bleeding City and Athens 2004: Back to the Birthplace.
I am proud that one of this year’s winners of the
Silver Telly awards is Ellopia, which represents the Hellenic Community in
Astoria, located in the 14th Congressional District which I represent.
Telly awards are given to outstanding
local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as
the finest video and film productions. Ellopia’s selection demonstrates
that it is being celebrated not only within the Hellenic community, but that
it is also becoming nationally known for the high quality of its reporting.
To have been selected from among 12,000
entries is an indisputable testament to the high quality of Ellopia’s
shows. Last year’s winners included heavyweights HBO, E! Network, A& E
Entertainment, Universal Studios Network, and Walt Disney Studios. Thus,
the selection of Ellopia is an extraordinary honor.
You and ELLOPIA TV must be commended for
this remarkable achievement. You are truly "Axie" of this award.
Very truly yours,
CAROLYN B. MALONEY
